Poems for Mom

Warmth of the jacket

Are you cold?

Mommy,

Come and hold me.

I’m your little jacket,

Hold tightly.

You will be warm.

Your embrace,

like sunshine in spring.

Warm and comfortable

Is my favorite place.

Secret of Independence

Mommy,

I could actually care for myself a long time ago,

But sometimes,

I just want to be lazy.

Stay in your arms.

Be a kid who never grows up

Magic of Four Seasons

Spring is a green dream,

Summer is a red enthusiasm,

Autumn is a gold harvest

Winter is a white fairytale

Feel the change of the four seasons,

Together with me

Happiness of Hide-and-Seek

Mommy, look, I’m hiding somewhere.

You’re still staying on your phone.

Hey, mommy, your baby is here,

Come play hide-and-seek with me

Hot pack and cold in summer

Mom,

In the winter

I’m your little hot pack.

In the summer,

I’m your ice-cream.

No matter what time

I will give you the most considerate accompany

Lucky Mom

Mom, you are so lucky

Because in this world

You “won” me.

I do whatever I can

To guard this luck!

My Wish

How old are you, mommy?

When you are one hundred,

I will be 64.

But I hope you can always stay beside me.

Live ‘til one hundred.

Even longer.

For forever.

Waiting outside the door

Mom, sometimes I pretend to lock you outside

But, I always stand there, waiting for you to open the door

Because I want to see you first

See you smiling at me,

And hear you.

Chances

Mom, I give you infinite chances

If you use 100 chances

I will give you ten more

And more still.

If you still don’t change,

I pretend to be angry

But I still love you with my whole heart.

Mountain Path

A winding mountain path.

Like a propeller,

Like so many donuts.

Hot

After I drink hot milk,

I feel like a charger just used.

So warm

Pancakes

People in the sky are eating pancakes.

They throw the pancakes down

When they are angry

Anger

My Anger,

Is like the power of a T-rex.

Angry me

“Is” a T-rex

Strength

Mommy,

If I eat a lot of food

I can become strong,

And help you carry

So many things.

Freedom

Mommy,

You’re so free.

You can do whatever you want

Because you don’t need to collect stars for presents

Grow up

I grew up

I’m not afraid of coldness

Or heat.

Now I can help you,

Mommy,

With things I couldn’t do before

Genes

I will be better

Than mommy and daddy

Because

I get my genes from both of them

Tears

Before,

My tears were cold

Did you know that?

Now,

My tears are warm,

My hair is warm,

My face is also warm.

Sadness

Can you see the sadness?

The tears are in my eyes,

Waiting to fall like little pearls.

Carrying Bags

I’m a big girl now,

Not a baby.

I can help mom carry bags.

Otherwise,

Her back will hurt,

That’s not good

Dress

The dress of Cinderella

Is magic,

It will disappear at midnight.

I will earn money

To buy my own beautiful dress.

Happiness

I’m so happy

That I can’t even see the world,

Because I smile so wide.

My cheeks are like the moon

And my eyes are the sun,

During an eclipse.

Stepmother

Mom,

When I practice the piano

You become a “stepmother”

Celebrity

In kindergarten,

Teachers are the celebrities.

At home,

I’m your little celebrity.
