Sorry, I was in the middle of feeding my horses. Anyways, I’m Claudie, an equestrian eventer and aspiring equine veterinarian and surgeon. I own two horses, Walnut and Clover and I’m lucky enough to have them in my backyard. I love the thrill of galloping them on a cross country course and performing intricate movements in dressage. Most of all, I love any animal and will spend as much time as possible with them. I guess that's how I earned the nickname “Barn Hair, Doesn’t Care” from Jeff and Wiley. As Old Orchard Public School starts at 6th grade, I haven’t known either of them very long. All I know is that “Barn Hair, Doesn’t Care” sure is a fitting nickname for me. One day I came to school with hay in my hair and have had many instances where I’m absolutely covered in horse hair. Although it can be annoying at times, I don’t mind being called Barn Hair, Doesn’t Care since I want people to know about my dedication to horses and also because it's true! I usually like nicknames as long as they are relevant and true, but can’t be rude or offensive. I know how it feels to have a mean nickname, and no one wants to be made fun of. Sometimes, people will come up with nicknames they think are funny, but no one else does. I don’t like when people make up nicknames based off of an incident someone had, especially if it is embarrassing. I’m surprised that no one has nicknamed Jeff and Wiley yet, seeing as they’ve nicknamed almost the entire school. So I have come up with two very fitting, hilarious nicknames for them. Starting off with Wiley, who has a big, strong, fearless personality, though he is often sassy and bossy. I think the best possible nickname for him would be “Chestnut Mare” since they are usually sassy. Jeff, however, has a gentle and intelligent nature, yet is competitive. The most fitting nickname for Jeff would be “Cheval Canadien,” a big, talented horse breed. Since he was in the Canada presentation and was the butt of a horse for International Night and because his personality is similar to the Cheval Canadien. I plan to share these nicknames with them one day. Although many people probably won’t understand the nicknames, I still think they are a great fit for Jeff and Wiley. Well anyways, I have to go since pastures have to be mucked out and horses have to be brought in.
